第一课时教学设计
一、新课程内容标准：
1.能根据上下文和构词法推断、理解生词的含义；
2.能理解段落中各句子之间的逻辑关系 ；
3.能找出文章中的主题理解故事的情节，预测故事情节的发展和可能的结局 ；
4.能根据不同阅读目的运用简单的阅读策略获取信息；
二、教学目标：
1. 知识目标：
1) 能掌握以下单词： visit, Canada, summer, sit, juice, soon, vacation, hard, Europe, mountains, country
2) 能掌握以下句型：
① —How's it going —How is your summer vacation going
② Are you studying hard or having fun
③ I'm having a great time sitting my aunt in Canada.
2.能力目标：
1）通过多种形式的练习方式来让学生们熟练掌握描述天气情况及描述正在发生的事情。
2）练习不同的天气谈论不同的活动
3.情感目标：
通过学生们对自己生活活动的展示，培养学生热爱生活以及自信、积极、乐观的精神风貌。
三、教学重难点
1. 教学重点：
1) 熟练掌握描述天气情况及描述正在发生的事情.
2) 阅读短文，提高获取相关信息的能力。
2. 教学难点
1）能根据情境提示来描述天气或他人正在做的事情。
2) 阅读短文，提高学生们的阅读能力。

任务型教学法、合作探究教学法、分层教学法、小组合作法。

Step1.Warm-up(1分钟)
1. Enjoy a vedio (英文版焦作旅游宣传片片段).
T: Pay attention“ the weather” and“ what are the people doing ”.
2. After watching
T: How is the weather there
T:What are the people doing in the city
【设计意图】通过观看视频，刺激学生的视觉感官，避免了枯燥乏味的说教，激发了学生的学习积极性，让学生在轻松好奇的氛围中复习上节课的目标语言，锻炼了学生的口头表达能力。另外,在交流过程中，也锻炼了学生的听力水平。
Step2.Pre-read(6分钟)
New words(5分钟)
1. T: Is the city right for taking a vacation Summer vacation is coming, I will go on a vacation by ship. During the summer vacation , maybe I will visit Canada、Europe and other countries. When I go on a vacation, the weather is hot, I will drink some water and juice.
2. Spell and read the words in your small group.
3. Read the words one by one.
4. Read after the teacher.① the teacher read once, the students read twice ,or the teacher read twice, the students read once.②The teacher read loudly, the students read down.
5. Read together.
【设计意图】通过看了影片来过渡到新单词的导出，小组拼读单词，互相学习而不枯燥。轮流检测读单词不忽视后进生，师生你读一遍，我读两遍这两种形式读单词增加了趣味性。

【设计意图】通过问答形式复习旧知，再通过环环相扣的提问激起学生的思考，运用第三幅图片的问答过渡到2b的postcard的阅读，达到过渡自然，引入主题。
Step3.While-read.(15分钟)

2. Read the postcards quickly, then match the postcard with the correct picture

【设计意图】挑读，培养学生快速捕捉关键词的习惯。
3. Read carefully and answer these questions
①1.Who is in Canada now
②.What is Su Lin doing now
③.Why is Dave writing to Jane
④.What`s the weather like in Europe
【设计意图】速读，培养学生快速捕捉信息的习惯，初步了解文章的部分信息。
4.Read the postcards carefully again and finish the mind map.
【设计意图】仔细阅读文章，要求学生从细节处把握文章，在前面阅读的基础上，从整体上把握文章的主要内容，以便于帮助学生加深对课文的理解。在此环节中，要求学生各自独立完成阅读任务，然后与同桌或同组同学合作解决疑难点。在这一环节中，我进一步分层设计题目，让学生自己选择，面向全体，各尽所能，激发学生学英语的热情。
4. Pair work
Now if you are Su Lin or Dave, you’re calling your friends to talk about your vacation. You can do it like this:

【设计意图】通过对话的方式达到对课文复述，培养学生组织语言的能力以对本单元的重点句型的复习，也培养了学生综合运用语言能力。
Step4.Post-read(6分钟)
1.Read aloud (read after the tape)
【设计意图】通过跟读，培养学生正确的语音语调，同时在这个过程中强化学生的记忆。
2. Retell.
【设计意图】 复述课文有利于培养学生阅读、说话等各方面的能力，通过复述可以增加词汇量，掌握单词、短语、句型的实际用法和各项语法规则；可以强化对新知识的记忆、巩固，并把新旧知识有机结合加以运用，使英语知识日趋丰富，从而为英语综合能力的提高奠定坚实的基础。
