Step 1 Revision
Show some pictures on the screen and review the words about phrases and the target languages in Section A
Step 2 Learn new words and phrases
Show some PPTs and help students to learn the new words and new phrases
Step 3 Practice 1a
Read the phrases first and then look at three blue signs . Let students match the words withe signs.
Check answers.Then read the sign again.
Step 4 Listening Practice 1b and 1c
Look at the picture in 1b first . Say the three streets and the places in the picture.
Look at the building A and the building B. Tell students to listen and write the correct place for each letter in the picture.Play the tape twice and then check the answers.
Play the tape again for students and let students understand the sentences about giving ways.
Read the conversations in pairs.
Step 5 1d Pair work
Show the pictures on the screen. Let students work in pairs and ask questions about how to get to the supermarket and the bank in the picture in 1b.
Let some pairs present their conversations.
