Step 1. Warming- up and revision
Talk about the things people did in the past:
1. Describe what you did last weekend to the classmates.
2. Pair work (Guessing games)
What did he do last weekend He played soccer./He went boating.
What did they do last weekend They went to the beach./They watched a movie.
What did she do yesterday She listened to music./She talked on the phone.
What did she do yesterday She played computer games.
What did she do yesterday She cleaned the room.

Step 2 Work on 1a
理解辨认有关动词词组,引导学生感知动词过去式的读音
1.学生两人一组共同试读词组,教师巡视,帮助纠正发音。
2.请一组学生在全班前朗读,教师评价,引导学生猜测词组的意思。
小组活动,完成1a任务
1.完成1a练习。
T: Please open your books and turn to page 70. Look at 1a and match the activities with the pictures.
2.小组活动,互相核对1a任务的答案。
3.利用课件订正答案。
教师提问:What did he / she do last weekend 并鼓励学生使用句子进行回答,如: She flew a kite。
(教师板书动词的过去式形式,并领读,提醒学生注意过去式的正确发音。)
学习并指认所学动词词组学生看图片说使用句型What did he do last weekend What did she do yesterday 进行练习。

以对话的方式巩固1a中所学的词组,呈现评价周末活动的新句型
教师指着图片示范:How was his weekend

组织Pair-work,练习使用目标语言。
1.学生两人完成1b。
2.两人一组交流他们的观点,请几名同学在全班交流。
3.教师和全班共同作评价。
