一、教材分析
本单元是Go for it ( 七年级下 ) Unit 12,主要围绕“what did you do last weekend ”这一主题展开各种教学活动, SectionB3a-self check部分是本单元的第五课时,这一课时通过一些练习要让学生学会如何用一般过去式表述过去某个时间做过的事情。
二、学情分析
我所教学的对象是初一学生,对英语普遍感兴趣,但有很大的不稳定性,好奇心强,求知欲旺盛,他们学习英语既感到好奇又担忧,希望能得到他人的肯定。因此我在教学活动中尽量让他们每个人都能参与到活动中来,有更多的机会来说英语,减少他们的恐惧感,通过学生间的合作学习,降低他们的学习难度,使他们体验到成功的喜悦。提高他们综合运用语言的能力,使各层次的学生都有所收获。
三、 教学目标
1.语言目标
1)短语 cleaned room,played soccer,watched TV,did my homework
2)句型结构
△---What did you do last weekend
---I cleaned my room.
△--- What did he/she do last weekend
---He/She did his/her homework.
3)语法 What questions
Simple past tense
2知识目标: 掌握一般过去式的用法
3 能力目标:学会用一般过去式表达过去某个时间做过的事情。
4 情感目标:热爱劳动,热爱大自然,体验美好生活。

2. 教学难点:学会用一般过去式写短文。

Step2.Lead- in

Then show some pictures and ask students to pratice in pairs.
Step3 Groupwork
T:There are several groups in our class.In your group.you should choose a reporter,he or she must tell us what your group members did last weekend at last.
Step4 A game
There are many animals can’t find their home,you should help them to find their home.
Rules:One group a student,if he is wrong ,another student from his group will go on,but a flag will be reduced.
Step5 Guessing game
Show some photos of myself ,let students guess what I did last weekend,they can use“Did you …… ”
After that tell them how to make sentences.
Step6 A short passage
Show a short passage about what I did last weekend.Let them know how to use the simple past tense to write a passage.
Step7 Practice
Ask students to write a passage about what they did last weekend.
Step8 Summary
Today we have learned how to make sentences and how to write a passage about simple past tence.
