Tips to Make a Homey Home
When things around you make you feel good, it is easy for you to feel at home. When you want to make your home (maybe a new one) more homey, you can try these easy things to do.
Keep it clean If you are trying to create a comfortable home, you need to make it clean first. It's difficult to be completely relaxed and happy in a place when it is dirty or messy.
Hang art Researches tell us about the benefits (好处) of art. Looking at art can reduce stress and make you feel better, for example. Hanging art in your house can make the space more enjoyable. What's more, it tells others about your interests and style.
Keep a pet Keeping a pet makes us happier and healthier. Your animal friend will always be excited to welcome you back home. Just imagine a cute dog or cat waiting by the door when you get home after a tiring day. What a stress-free experience!
Go green Just like art and animals, plants and flowers can also cheer you up. By bringing green and fresh blooms (花) into your home, you can feel closer to nature and stay away from the stress from work or study.

It helps me with my homework and we often go swimming. It is programmed to take care of me if anything happens, so I always feel safe when we are together. It can also send me messages, just like the e-mails before, and I can download information from its memory whenever I need it. Are robots our friends or enemies(敌人) Sci-fi(科幻)writers give us different answers. American writer Isaac Asimov wrote the book I, Robot in 1950. In his story, robots aren’t scary.
In the story, the mother, Mrs. Weston, buys a robot called “Robbie” to look after her daughter, Gloria. The girl quickly makes friends with the robot. Although the family has had the robot for two years, Mrs. Weston no longer trusts him. She thinks that Gloria spends so much time with Robbie that she doesn’t have enough time with other people. So she takes Robbie away. Gloria gets very sad. ▲ They take Gloria to a robot factory. They want Gloria to see that robots are just made of metal (金属) and they have no feelings. So she doesn’t have to care about them so much.
In the robot factory, Gloria sees Robbie and runs to him. But she runs in the way of a vehicle (车辆). Robbie saves Gloria. Gloria’s mother sees Robbie is good for Gloria, and the family takes Robbie back home with them.
In I, Robot, Asimov wrote about a friendly robot. He also made three rules for robots. First, robots should never hurt (伤害) humans. Second, robots must always listen to humans’ orders (命令). Third, robots should protect (保护) themselves as long as they don’t hurt humans.

As teenagers, you have many dreams. The dreams can be big, such as winning the Nobel Prize, or they can be small. You just want to become one of the ten best students in your class.

During the Western Jin Dynasty(西晋时期) (265-316), there was a man named Zhou Chu. He was very strong—stronger than any other man in the village.
People were scared of him because he often bullied (欺负) villagers. At that time, a man-eating tiger and a deep water monster (怪兽) lived near the village. They often made trouble. People called them, along with Zhou, the “three evils” (三害).

From then on, Zhou became a good person and stopped bullying others. Later he became a great soldier (士兵) and died protecting his country.
