(Section A 2a—2d)
Aims: 1)To learn the new words and phrases.
2)To learn how to make a conversation with a waiter or a waitress in a restaurant.
3 ) To learn how to show your love to your mother.
Key points : take one’s order a large bowl of a small bowl of
a medium bowl tofu what size
Difficulties : How to make a conversation with a waiter or a waitress in a restaurant.
Analysis of the students:
1. 大部分学生来自农村,学习英语不到一年成绩差底子薄,学生发音方言化,学习积极性有待提高。
2. 部分学生性格内向,不善于表达,学生学习能力一般,对英语学习缺乏信心,课堂表现力差。
Procedure
Step 1. Greeting (1mint)
The students stand up and greet the teacher as usual.
Step 2. Revision (3mints)
1) Ask students “ Do you like delicious food ” and get the answer. 设计意图:通过图片展示,激发学生学习兴趣并为后面的游戏环节做好铺垫。
2).Play the words snatching game and get the students to say the food and drink words quickly.
设计意图:复习所学食物和饮料的单词为后面训练环节打好基础。
Step 3 . Lead- in (3mints)
1)Show a picture of a restaurant to make students feel personally on the scene.
2) Show a cupboard and make the students practice the sentence “What would you like ” lead in the title and new sentences.
设计意图:通过进入餐厅并展示食品柜,使学生迅速进入食客角色。通过回答问题既熟悉了已学句型也为新内容做好铺垫。
Step 4 . presentation (20mints)
1)Show three sizes of noodles and teach new words :
a small bowl of a medium bowl of a large bowl of
I’d like a large bowl of noodles....
设计意图:通过叠加图片游戏直观形象的一步步引导学生学习新单词 新短语和新句型。
2)Group work: Students practice in groups and play the chain match.
设计意图:通过小组竞赛形式练习新短语和句型,继续巩固目标语言.
3) Finish 2b :Listen and complete the sentences.
设计意图:通过听力练习训练学生的听力技巧让学生体会点餐用语如 何使用。
白板交互使用:让学生使用智能笔填空。
4) Show a video about taking order in a restaurant.
设计意图:采用情景教学法直观的展示如何用英语点餐,同时训练听力为后面的环节作铺垫。
白板交互使用:在白板模式下现场插入视频并在展示对话环节使用了幕布和批注。
5)To make the students say the sentences they hear and write the new sentences on the blackboard. Explain and teach them to read.
设计意图:通过观看视频直观展示,为对话表演做铺垫。
6)Ask and answer
设计意图:通过问答游戏使更多学生熟悉新知参与课堂。
7)Finish 2d :Listen and answer the questions about Tom and Sally
设计意图:通过听纠正发音并回答问题,使学生初步了解对话主要内容。8)Read and find the words and phrases in the conversation.
设计意图:使学生进一步了解对话细节信息。考察学生预习情况。
9)A reading match.
设计意图:激发学生的学习兴趣。锻炼学生的朗读能力,并对本课对话加深记忆。
Step 5 .Role-play their own conversations. (6mints)
1)Show a picture about my son and daughter are cooking dinner for me. Ask students to make up their own conversation about cooking for their mother and role-play it.
2)Ask some groups to role-play their conversation.
设计意图:通过为母亲做饭的图片展示,给本课融入了感情因素,使本课内容有所升华,通过学生表演,更直观的表现了学生对于母亲的感谢之情。这也是本课内容的潜在的情感线索。
3) To show the results of match (1mint)

设计意图:通过思维导图直观的向学生展示了本节课的重点。为本节课画上了一个圆满的句号。
