◆be made of 指原材料制成成品后，原材料未经任何化学变化，仍保持原有性质。如：
The chair is made of wood.这把椅子是木制的。
◆be made from指当原材料制成成品后，经过了化
学变化，失去了原有性质。如：
The bread is made from wheat.面包是由小麦制

◆be made in指由某地制造，后面跟产地。如：
This car is made in China. 这辆汽车是中国制造。
◆be made by是指被动语态，意为“由……制造，被……制造”。如：

allow用作动词，意为“允许，让(做某事)”。主要用
法如下：
◆allow+名词/代词。如：
We can not stand by and allow such a thing.

◆allow sb. to do sth. “允许某人做某事”；没有
allow to do sth. 的搭配。如：
My mother allowed me to play for only 30
minutes. 我妈妈只允许我玩30分钟。

◆either... or... 意为“或者……或者……”，其作主语时，谓语动词的数与or后面的名词保持一致。如：
Either he or I am wrong. 不是他错，就是我错了。
◆neither... nor... 意为“两者都不”，neither后可跟名词单数；作主语时，谓语用单数形式；常用句型为neither... nor... (连接并列主语时，谓语要与邻近的名词保持一致)。如：
Neither you nor he is wrong. 既不是你错了，也不是他错了。
◆both... and... 意为“两者都……”，both... and连接两个成分作主语时，谓语动词只能用复数。
如：Both Jim and Jack are doctors. 吉姆和杰克都是医生。
【知识拓展】辨析both，neither与all
both表示“两者都”，其反义词为neither，意为“两者都不”。如：
Both are right. 两个都对。
Neither of them are students.
他们两个都不是学生。

单数时, 表示“全; 总”; 修饰名词复数时，表示“全部
的；所有的”。其反义词为none,意为“全不”。all也

All these mails must be answered.
