英语表示“有多长(宽,高……)”时,一般将数词和数量单位放在表示长宽高的形容词前作状语。

fell free是英语口语中一个常用表达。若有人让你feel free to do something, 就是让你无需拘束,只管按照自己的意愿去做某事。
e.g. A: Can I use your bathroom 我可以用一下你的卫生间吗?
B: Yes, feel free. 可以,请随意。
2. As far as I know, there are no man-made objects as big as this.
据我所知,再没有像它这样大的人造物体了。
as far as I know是一个固定的表达方式,还可以说so far as I know, 意思是“据我所知”。
e.g. As far as I know, Jack’s got twin sisters.
就我所知,杰克有一对孪生姐妹。
They’re not coming today, so far as I know.
他们今天不来了– 就我所知是这样的。

This class we’ve learned to talk about geography and nature.Review the usage of the comparatives and the superlatives.We can say the numbers in English correctly.
Step 13 Teaching reflection
本课采用了复习导入法,通过free talk ,brainstorm复习上一单元内容以及为本课的学习做铺垫,但在操作过程中,发现有相当一部分学生对比较级和最高级的变化规则不熟练,有待强化。本课生词较多因此在课前提前预习,效果较好。在这节课中,我采用了“任务型”的教学途径,先热身复习了前面学过的单词、短语及句型。我给出了不同的图片供学生选择,同时提供了基本句型:
A:What’s the highest /the longest /the deepest /the biggest ... in the world A:How high /long/deep/big is ...
因为任务明确,学生有了明确的目标,他们的积极性很高,利用前面复习过的内容,他们很快就会做对话,参与踊跃,效果显著。
不足之处:这节课,内容安排较多,未完成2b Role play部分,练习题做的有点仓促。应多增加一些拓展练习。这样学生在对话练习时,更能自由发挥,而不是拘泥于老师给的图片上的内容。
