Step 1 Warming up
Read the new words one by one to check if they have prepared ,then ask them to challenge the questions.
Step 2 Listening practice
1. Listen and fill in the blanks.
2. Ask the students to say the rules about for and since.
Step 3 practice
Fill in the blanks.
Step 4 Activities: sentence maker.
Use the words and picture in the card to make sentences.
Step 5 Fast reading
Read the article written by a father for a newspaper. What is his family going to sell at the yard sale
Step 6 Careful reading
1.Read the passage and choose true (T) or false (F).
2. 3b Read the article again and answer the questions.
