Step 1 Lead-in (5′)
Share two sentences with students, let students know that different people have different opinions about even one same thing. Then show some pictures to students, ask them to say what chores they are doing in the pictures. After that, ask students the question “Should children do chores at home ”

Catch the main ideas of Ms. Miller and Mr. Smith’s letters.
