Step 1 Revision 1. Ask Ss to translate the phrases into English.2.Read and repeat them. 1. Students watch the phrases and talk about them. Then translate them into English即将、倒咖啡、排队等候etc. 2. Students try to remember them. 运用翻译短语,找回记忆,巩固所学知识,为后面的继续学习做铺垫。
Step 2 Warm up 1. Watch the picture, say something about the thing in the picture.2.Get some Ss to read the sentences.3.Watch other sentences , understand their means and grammar. Step 3 presentation 1.Ss watch the screen, Ask Ss to know the form and structure of the Past Perfect Tense2.Get Ss to watch the Micro class of the Past Perfect Tense, Further understanding of Past Perfect tense usage. 1.Ss to read the sentences together.2.Watch the Micro class carefully,Understand the usage 通过大量例句和微课老师的讲解,巩固掌握过去完成时的用法级特点。
Step 4 Grammar focus Let Ss watch the sentences in Grammar focus on the screen carefully.Read and repeat them.Explain the structure and usage of past perfect tense: 构成: 助动词 had (用于各种人称和数) + 过去分词用法: 主要是表示在过去某个时间或动作之前已经发生或完成的动作, 即过去的过去。 1 .Ss look at them and read loudly2. Ss listen to the teacher carefullyUnderstand the structure and usage of the past perfect tense, Pay attention to the adverbial of time. 通过讲解过去完成时的结构和用法, 使学生对过去完成时有一个整体感知。
Step 5 Practice (4a, 4b&4c) 1. Let students make sentences using by the time or before in 4a. 2. Ask students to fill in the blanks with the correct forms of the words in the box in 4b. 3.
