and连接的并列句, 结构为“祈使句，and+表示将来时的句子”。祈使句部分表示条件，and后部分表示由此而产生的结果。
沿着新华街一直走到头，就会在你的左边找到它。

go up 沿着（道路）走，up意为“沿着，顺着（某方向），
e.g. When are you next going up to Scotland
go down“沿着”，尤指往南去或从大城镇到小地方。
e.g. They’ll go down to Heze.

along prep. 沿着，顺着。相当于上一句中的up，相近的还有down，
如：walk down=go along=go up=go down=walk along 沿着……走
沿着新华街往前走，在第1个十字路口向右拐。

turn right at the first crossing =take the first crossing on the right.
turn right(副词)=turn to the right (名词)，意为“向右拐”

turning on the right / left at the first street= take the first crossing on the right/left.

Excuse me， how can I get to the library？
（1）get to = arrive at/ in =reach “到达……”，后面加地点名词，三种“到达”均可以。如果没有到达的地点时，要用arrive。
（2）在地点副词home，here，there前面一般省略介词
打扰一下，我怎样才能到图书馆？
（3）注意同义句互换：
He usually gets to school at 7：00.
=He usually reaches school at 7:00.
=He usually arrives at school at 7:00.

across 用作介词，意为“横过，在….对面”。强调从一定范围的一边到另一边,且在物体表面上或沿着某一条线的方向而进行的动作。
e.g. My friend lives across the street.
e.g. The bookstore is across from the school.
across from意为“在对面”
go across 穿过，通过
e.g. Go across the bridge, and you’ll find the park.
The library is on the corner of Xinhua street and Zhongshan Road.
图书馆在新华路和中山路的拐角处。
on the corner of意为“在……的拐角处”。句中on强调在“拐角”处，是指某建筑物坐落于两条街道形成的一个“拐角”。
e.g. My book is on the corner of the table.
in the corner of意为“在……的拐角处”。in强调在拐角“里面”
e.g. The cat is sitting in the corner of the room.
at the corner of意为“在……的拐角处”, at强调在拐角的“外面”
e.g. Please meet me at the corner of the street.
