have “有”，指人或某物“拥有”。

there be“有”，指（某地）存在“有”。
There is a study next to my bedroom.
在卧室旁边有个书房。
注：there be 遵循就近原则。取决于离该动词最近的那个名词。

second第二，first 第一， 序数词，前面要用定冠词the, 意为第二（的），第一（的）。
它在二楼。
on the first floor美式英语一楼，floor地板，此处指“楼房的层”。英式英语用the ground floor 表示一楼。

next to…意为：“在……近旁，紧邻。

你书房里有什么？
“What’s + 表示地点的介词短语”用there be句型来回答。
—What’s on the desk
询问的时候，be动词只能用单数is;而回答时需视情况而选用单复数。
—There are 5 eggs on the desk.

为什么不上楼去看看呢？
Why not + 动词原形…… “为什么不……(用来提建议)”
也可替换为 “Why don’t you+动词原形 ”
e.g. Why not tell a story
have a look看看，后面接名词时要用at。
e.g. Please have a look at your watch.

“Let’s”用于提出建议，其中“us”包括对方在内。
e.g. Let's start early, shall we
“Let us…” = Please allow us…，其中“us”不包括对方在内。
e.g. Let us have a try.

表示建议的句型
