The Spring Festival
In China, the Spring Festival is a big event. People usually start preparing for the festival one month before it comes. They prepare delicious food, and clean and decorate their homes. They also buy some new clothes. On the eve of the festival, the family all get together for a big dinner. They stay up and enjoy dumplings at midnight for good luck. On the first day of the lunar new year, children put on their new clothes and greet their parents. They are very happy to get lucky money from them.
