Language points
What color is it
(1)What color is/are sth 这是一个特殊疑问句，用来询问颜色。当被询问的物品是单数或不可数名词时，be动词用is，回答时用句型“It’s + 颜色.”或直接用表示颜色的词回答；当被询问的物品是复数时，be动词用are，回答时用句型“They’re +颜色.”或者直接用表示颜色的词回答。
--What color is the pen
--It’s blue.

--They’re red.
(2) color用作名词，意为“颜色”，也可写作colour，既可作可数名词，也可作不可数名词。the color of... 意为“...的颜色”。
We have jackets in all colors. 我们有各种颜色的夹克衫。
The color of my ruler is blue. 我的尺子的颜色是蓝色的。
