keep 意为 “保留；保存”
keep them to themselves 意为 “把问题（烦恼）埋

此句中，keep 表示“（使……）保持（某种状
态或关系）；一直……”，后面接动词时，该动
词要用-ing形式，形成 keep doing…结构。
例如：It kept raining for a week.
