三、教学过程
Step 1. Warming-up
To show and guess two riddles about transportation.
—It is like a bird. And it flies in the sky.
(打一交通工具)
—A plane.
—It is like a train(火车) but goes under
the ground.(打一交通工具)
—A subway.
Step 2. Presentation
1). To learn the words and phrases about transportation by showing some pictures.
train, take the train,bus, take the bus,subway, take the subway,bike,ride a bike, plane, take the plane,walk,on foot
2) . To practice the sentence
—How do you get to school
—I take the bus /subway /train /plane/ride a bike/ walk to school.
Step 3.Practice
1. Match the words with the pictures in 1a.
2. Check the answers in 1a.
3.Read the key sentences together and interview some of students how do they go to school.
4. Listen and write the numbers next to the correct students in the picture.
5. Listen to the tape three times and check your answers in 1b.
6.Do pairwork in 1c by using the information in 1b.

7.Make up new conversations in pairs by using the pictures on the screen.

Step 4. Look and learn
1.To look and pratice the key sentences by showing some pictures about transportation and try to answer in two ways.
