Step1:Lead-in
Ask students to look at the pictures ,and answer a question.
“What would you like to do for these people ”
Step2: Listening.
1.Listen to the tape and finish 1c.
2.Listen again. Circle T for true and F for false.
Jimmy fixed up broken bicycle parts, like wheels.
Jimmy sells bikes.
Jimmy takes after his mother.
Jimmy has run out of money.
3.Listen again and fill in the blanks.
Step3: Turn to page 13 and finish the 1a.
Step4：Do exercises.
Step5: page 13, 1b
