Step 1 Free talk
The teacher begins to talk about the possessions with the students in order to lead in the target language and the main topic.

Step 2 Pair work
Ask the students to make conversations to talk about the possessions around them. The teacher needs to present an example.

Step 3 What do you do with the old things
Give some questions to students and list the answers on the blackboard. from the answers the teacher can lead in the topic of the yard sale.
Step 4 The yard sale
Present the pictures of the yard sale to the students. Talk about the topic with the students.

Step 5 Listening
Read the questions on the screen, after listening, make the correct choices.
Listen to 1a again, check the facts.

Step 6 Sitcom
Our class is a big family, we are going to have a big yard sale, work in groups, one is the guest, the other students needs to bring one thing to the yard sale, introduce the thing to the guest.
