三、教学过程
Ⅰ. Warming- up and revision
Listen to the song “Mirror mirror” to find out the Modal Verb in this beautiful song.
Ⅱ. Lead in
1.Guess What is he doing
2.Show some pictures of the UFO and aliens.
Ⅲ. Creating work (Come to 1a)
1. Try to make inferences（推测）.
2.Try to show your performance （表演）.
Work with the partners and show the performance, then give the points.
Ⅳ. Listening
1.Work on 1c:
①Tell Ss to read the sentences in 1c and try to understand the meaning of them.
②Play the recording for the Ss. Ss just listen for the first time. Play the recording again and check the sentences Ss hear.
③Check the answers with reading the material on P142..
2.Work on the Task List.
① Listen to the tape and fill in the blacks.
