一、定义
条件状语从句是由引导词if以及unless等词引导的状语从句。在英文中，"条件"是指某一件事情实现之后(状语从句中的动作)，其它事情(主句中的动作)才能发生。
二、引导词
条件状语从句的连词有if（如果）；unless（除非，如果不）；as long as (只要）
I will visit you if I am free. 如果我有空，我就去拜访你。
They will go hiking unless it rains next week.下周如果不下雨，他们会去远足。
As long as you tell the truth, I will help you.只要你说实话，我就会帮你。
【典型例题】

四、难点：if引导的从句类型的区分及词义的区分
动词+if +宾语从句，if 翻译成“是否” 时态按宾语从句的时态规律进行选择
I don’t know if he can come. 我不知道他是否会来。（主句一般现在时，从句按需选择）
I didn’t know if he could come.我不知道他是否会来。（主句一般过去时，从句用进行呼应）
主句+if+条件状语从句，if翻译成“如果” 主将/祈/情从现
I will go to the party if he invites me. 如果他邀请我，我就会去参加晚会。
Please call me at once if he comes back. 如果他回来了请立刻给我打电话。
