Step1 Warm-up Ask some students questions:1.What does your father look like 2.What does your mother look like 3.What does yourbest friend look like Describe your father, mother and your best friend’s looks from height, build and hair.
Step 2 Presentation Show learning aims Read the learning aims
1a Match the words with the pictures Read and translate the phrases, then match them
3 Show some pictures. Make sentences about famous people. Fill in the blanks in 1b. Pay attention to has/wears
Step 3 Practice Task1 Try to describe the people in the pictures. Show some pictrues.Example:Show a pictureThe woman has short curly blonde hair. She has a round face. She has a small mouth and big eyes. She doesn’t wear glasses. She is beautiful (漂亮的). Try to describe the people in there pictures.
Task2 Show some famous people’s pictures. Try to describe the people in the pictures from height, build, hair, face and so on.
Task3 Ask some students to be models. Ask students describe their looks from height, build, hair, face and so on.
Step 3 Listening PracticeWhile listening Task4 1c Explain how to do, then play the radio 1c Listen and write Tina Brown’s job in the chart.

After listening Task5 Describe what your favorite singer or athletic looks like. Then share on a projector Write a short passage to describe your favorite singer, acter/actress and athletic looks.
Step 4 Consolidation Explain Language pionts. Take notes and understand them.
Step5 Exercise Lead students to finish some exercise. Students complete alone then share ansers.
