Teaching aims (教学目标)
1. 继续通过谈论过去的事来学习一般过去时态。
2. 能够读懂课文,理解其中的重要短语结构。

一般过去时态的使用。
Teaching steps (教学步骤)
1. Warm-up and revision(课堂热身和复习)
(1)Daily greetings to the Ss
(2) Revision (复习):
T: How was your weekend
S: It was great.
T: Well, what did you do
S: I did my homework.
【教学设计说明】本单元主要通过谈论上周末发生的事情来巩固学习一般过去时态。通过询问周末所做的活动来导入本单元话题,这样导入简洁、自然。
2. Presentation (呈现新知识)
(1) Show pictures of some activities. Explain the new phrases to Ss.
T: I have a friend, Lucy. She had a busy weekend. Let’s look at what she did last weekend.
(2) Work on 2a.Finish the task.
【教学设计说明】图片教学法是呈现新知识最简单有效的方法之一,学生通过图片,能更价值观的理解新单词的含义。
3. Work on 2b (完成2b)
(1)Show two pictures of the science museum. Lead to the new lesson.
(2) Let students listen to the tape of 2b.Then give them some time to read the article by themselves.
(3)Invite several Ss to read the article for the whole class.
(4) Let Ss write the words or phrases they don't understand on the blackboard.
【教学设计说明】此环节着重是阅读训练。给学生一定的时间自我阅读,提升学生的阅读能力。
4. Practice .
(1) Explain the difficult words and phrases to Ss.
(2) Show Ss the learning task sheet. Give Ss enough time to finish it.
(3) Show the questions on PPT. Then ask some Ss to answer them one by one.
【教学设计说明】此环节为阅读理解,目的是使不同层次学生掌握目标语言。基础较好的学生能够独立自主完成阅读任务,基础较弱的学生能够在老师或同学的帮助下弄懂文章基本内容。
5. Consolidation.(2c)
(1)T: Did Helen and Jim go on the same trip
S: Yes, they did.
T:How do they feel about the trip Can you find the useful information from the article to fill in the chart below
(2)Show the chart of 2c to Ss .Give Ss some time to finish it.
(3)Check the answers with Ss.
