教学目标:学生能够读懂寻求帮助和提建议的阅读文章，同时提高获取信息的能力。
教学重点:学会用should和Why don’t you 等句型来给他人提简单可行的建议。
教学难点: 熟练掌握refuse to do sth, offer to do sth, communicate with sb等词组的用法。
情感目标: 培养学生在困难面前不轻言放弃的精神，必要时要学会向家人，朋友和老师寻求帮助。同时培养学生向有困难的人伸出援手的习惯。
教学过程：
Step1: Before-reading
1, Watch a short video and give some advice to the boy.
2, Pair works: Patients and doctor.
e.g. -What’s the matter
-I have a headache.
-You should lie down and rest.
Step2: While-reading
Task1: Read loudly by yourselves and find out Sad and Thirteen’s problems.
Task2：A game: Pass the lucky flower.
When the teacher plays the music, the students will pass the flower. When the music stops, the student who gets the flower gives some advice.
Task3: Read the second letter in groups and check Mr. Hunt’s advice
Task4: Reading competition.
Task5: Read loudly and fill in the blanks.
