The teaching material is the reading part of section A in unit 6. The unit consists of many stories. This passage about the Monkey King will arouse the students’ interest in reading and telling stories. With the interest they will get some reading skills to improve their reading ability.

2.Scanning : Read the passage sentence by sentence and answer the three questions.
