3. 分段扫读(Scanning) ，能快速准确地从文中找到有关大熊猫的饮食、现状及其濒危原因，拯救大熊猫的举措。
4. 听读全篇(Listening and reading)，能听取关键词并补全句子。
5. 复述课文(Retelling), 小组合作，设计本组的思维导图，根据本组设计的思维导图分工合作复述整篇课文。
学生能运用扫读技能快速寻找问题答案，理解全篇。
通过复述课文，培养学生用英语做事情的能力。
教学流程Teaching Procedure:

引导示范学习新词 Show some sentences including keerper、 research、 illnesses and endangered. Guess the Chinese meaning of the new words . 结合句子情境，利用图片、语音、构词法等方法调动学生多种感官，引导学生猜测词义。
略读全篇（Skimming） Explain the requirement of skimming skills. Skim the whole passage.Match the main idea with Each paragraph. 略读全篇，为每一自然段匹配段落大意，帮助学生了解全文大意。

复述课文(Retelling) Draw a mind map called a panda with the key words on the blackboard, then retell the article. Students in groups draw their mind maps together , then prepare to retell the article. 学生以组为单位，共同为所学课文构建思维导图，根据思维导图复述课文，培养学生综合运用所学目标语言的能力。
