本课教学内容是八年级下Unit 9 第三课时,首先导入部分用图片形象直观,话题内容与实际生活紧密联系,利于激发学生的学习兴趣,然后讨论是否去过这些地方,引出本节课的目标语言。
在本课的阅读训练中,先让学生找出文章的大意;然后让学生带着问题略读文章,渗透了阅读策略的指导,培养了学生独立阅读的能力。整节课时刻注意激发学生的学习兴趣,培养学生阅读能力。本课在语言输出环节采用分层教学,既帮助能力差的学生夯实了基础,又锻炼了优等生的能力。

Leading in 【情景导入】
1.T:Do you like traveling
S: Yes,we do.
T: Me too. Now I′d like to invite you to enjoy a pretty song 《Traveling Light》.

2. three quarters相当于three fourths,意为“四分之三”。分数的读法:分子用基数词,分母用序数词,若分子大于1,则分母加s。

3/4 three fourths或three quarters
1/4 one/a quarter或one fourth
1/2 a half或one second
【拓展】 分数作主语,谓语动词的单复数取决于它代表的名词。若名词是单数/不可数名词,谓语动词用单数,若名词是可数名词复数,谓语动词用复数。
