Unit 9 I like music that I can dance to.
Section A 2 (3a-3c)教学设计
1、 教材分析
这篇阅读材料提供一篇关于电影喜好的文章，要求学生从文中找出不同的电影类型及提及的电影名称；引导学生关注文中的细节；并让学生根据短文的信息，结合自己的实际，发表自己的观点。通过这篇阅读材料的学习，学生通过一系列阅读任务的挑战后，一方面促进学生理解篇章内容，了解文章结构，另一方面还能培养学生分析信息，处理信息的能力，训练他们的思维。通过最后写作任务的输出，可以提高学生“在用中学，在学中用”的能力。本节课也对前面定语从句的学习进行了巩固，也为Section B的学习提供了储备信息。所以本节课起着承前启后的作用。
2、 教学目标
1. 语言知识目标：
1) 学习掌握下列词汇：down, dialogue, ending, documentary, drama, plenty, plenty of, shut, shut off, superhero, once in a while
2) 能掌握以下句型：
① When I’m down or tired, I prefer movies that can cheer me up.
② I can shut off my brain, sit back and enjoy watching an exciting superhero who always saves the world just in time.
③ Once in a while, I like to watch movies that are scary.
④ I always bring a friend who isn’t afraid of these kinds of movies.
3) 进一步熟练掌握that/ which/ who引导的定语从句。
2. 情感目标：
1) 通过表达个人喜好，提高学生欣赏美的水平。
2) 感悟和分享音乐和电影带来的情感体验。
3) 激发学生的学习兴趣和学习热情。
4)引导学生学会处理和远离消极的情绪。
3．能力目标
1) 学会用that/which/who引导的定语从句描述自己对电影的喜好
2) 通过阅读训练，能按要求获取相关的信息，提高学生们的阅读能力。
三、教学重难点
1. 教学重点：掌握电影的种类，学以致用的用文中的句型，培养学生的语言运用能力。
2. 教学难点：学会用that/which/who引导的定语从句描述自己对电影的喜好。课文的复述与写作的任务也是学生需要突破的难点。

2.Free talk Show and talk some movie posters. And ask the students about their favorite kind of movies.
Before-Reading Look at the picture in 3a ,answer the following questions .1. What are the girls doing 2. What kind of movies do you think they might be watching 在这个项目活动中，学生是任务的主体，让学生通过课前任务自主学习新单词和新句型，让学生做一个发现者，研究者，探索者。
While-Reading 1.Skimming Skim the passage in 3a. Then get the main idea of the passage. 尝试使用阅读的策略帮助学生养成好习惯，培养自主学习，大胆尝试良好的阅读氛围。
2.Scanning Scan the passage and fill in the blanks. 培养学生分析信息，处理信息的能力，训练他们的思维。
3.close-reading Read the passage carefully and discuss the following questions .①Why does the writer think watching comedies is a good way to relax ②The writer thinks documentaries can be interesting. But why doesn’t she watch them when she is tired 这个任务不仅仅要求学生既要理解字面意思，又要理解其深层含义，包括作者的态度、观点、意图等。这样能培养学生的思维以及处理信息的能力。
4.Language points. 帮助学生进行疑难解析，帮助学生更好的理解和掌握所学的语言材料。
After-Reading 1. Listening and reading aloud Listen to the tape and read it aloud after the tape . 通过跟读模仿，提高学生的语音语调，并进一步熟悉课文，为下一个复述的任务做了良好的铺垫。
2. Retelling Retell the passage in 3a . 通过课文复述的任务，可以让学生快速把课堂上所学的词组和句型复习。还提高了学生的口语水平，也培养了学生的思维能力。
3. Discussions Interview your partner and complete the chart in 3c . 通过引导，让学生学会用文中的句型进行表述，培养学生言语运用和自主表达的能力。
4. A writing task According to 3c, write a passage about what kinds of movies you feel like watching in different mood. 鼓励学生会用本单元的常见句型结构写出相应的短文，提高学生的写作能力。给出范文帮助那些有学习困难的同学，让他们不要产生畏难情绪。
