物主代词
1.含义及分类
物主代词是表示所有关系的代词,它分为 物主代词和 物主代词两种,其人称和数的变化详见下表:

名词性物主代词 mine yours his hers its ours yours theirs
2.用法:
(1)形容词性物主代词属于限定词,相当于 词,用在名词前。
如:my school我的学校 their bags他们的书包
(2)名词性物主代词相当于 词,为避免重复使用名词,常用名词性物主代词来代替“ ”。其用法如下:
①作主语
His bike is new. But is old.
他的自行车是新的,但我的是旧的。
②作宾语
We are cleaning our classroom. They are cleaning .
我们在打扫我们的教室,他们在打扫他们的(教室) 。
③作表语
—Whose coat is this 这是谁的大衣?
—It’s .是她的。
【拓展】
①名词性物主代词用作主语时,谓语动词的数应根据所指代的人或物的数而定。
—Is this pencil yours or hers 这支铅笔是你的还是她的?
—It’s mine. Hers in her bag.是我的。她的(铅笔)在她的书包里。(hers=her pencil)
—Whose books are these 这些是谁的书?
—They are his. Yours over there.是他的。你的(书)在那边。(yours=your books)
②“名词+of+名词性物主代词”是双重所有格的一种形式,应该特别注意它的用法。
He is a friend of .他是我的一个朋友。
This is a pen of .这是她的一支钢笔。
