【课前预习】
完成教学目标部分的词汇及词组部分。
【课前导学】
1. mix v. 混合 You can’t mix oil and water. 油和水不相溶。
【固定搭配】mix up 混合,搞糊涂
I’m afraid you mixed her up with her sister. 恐怕你把她和她妹妹搞混淆了。
【知识拓展】mixed adj. 混合的 This is a mixed school. 这是一所男女混合的学校。
2. add v. 增加,补充 Please add some milk to my coffee. 请在我的咖啡里多加些牛奶。
3. for example与such as的用法区别
(1) for example意为用来举例说明,有时可作为独立语,插在句中,不影响句子其他部分的语法关系。如:A lot of people here, for example, Mr. John, would rather have coffee.
这儿的许多人,例如约翰先生,宁愿喝咖啡。
(2) such as用来列举事物,插在被列举事物与前面的名词之间。如:
The farm grows various kinds of crops, such as wheat, corn, cotton and rice.
这个农场种植各种各样的庄稼,例如麦子,玉米,棉花和稻米。
4. leave v. 使处于某种状态 e.g. He left the album open on the table. 他把相册敞着放在桌子上。
leave vi. 离开;留下
His brother left for Suzhou this morning. 他的哥哥今天上午动身去了苏州。
I left my homework at home yesterday. 我昨天把家庭作业忘在家里了。

Step1:Warm up Do you know how to make a fruit salad
Teach some new words.
Step2:Amy and Suzy are making a fruit salad. Listen to their conversation and tick the things they need.(Part A1 on Page 49)
Step3:Read Amy’s notes of how to make a fruit salad. Put her notes in the correct order. Write the numbers 1-4 in the boxes. (Part A2 on Page 49)
Step4:Listen to Suzy giving Amy some tips for making a fruit salad. Help Amy complete her notes with the correct words. (Part A3 on Page 50)
