在体貌比较公式中的形容词比较级前面加上相差的数值就可以了。
形容词的变身法则
1.一般的词---词尾+er
fast-faster short--shorter long-longer
2.以字母e结尾的单音节词---词尾+r
large-larger late-later nice-nicer fine-finer
3.以重度闭音节结尾，且词尾只有一个辅音字母的词---先双写该辅音字母，再+er.
thin--thinner big--bigger fat--fatter
4.以辅音字母加y结尾的词--先改y为i,再+er.
angry-angrier busy-busier early-earlier

5.多音节和其他双音节形容词变比较级，通常在前面加上more

2．能够理解并根据指令操作Group work部分的内容。能够有节奏的说唱Let’s chant部分的内容，并鼓励学生自编自写自唱歌谣来进一步巩固所学知识。
3．鼓励学生在调查、比较和分析的过程中反思该如何扬长避短，让自己做得更好。
重点
能用本单元的语言，如：How tall are you I’m 164 cm tall. You’re shorter than me. You’re 4 cm taller than me. 等调查同学的年龄、体重和身高并就调查结果进行分析比较，做出汇报。

1.人物访谈
教师告诉学生要访问几名优秀学生，请其他同学就访问的内容进行纪录。21世纪教育网
访问内容为：How old are you How tall are you 访问人数为5人。
教师小结采访结果，使其他学生再次订正纪录内容。
教师根据学生的纪录询问How tall is A How old is A How tall is B How old is B Is A taller than B Is B older than A 等。
2.句子接龙
教师指着一名学生说：I’m taller than you. 引导该学生指着另一名学生说I’m stronger than you. 如此接下去。说不出的学生可以将上一名学生的句子改说成：You’re stronger than me.
3.动感说唱
教师播放Let’s chant 部分的录音，学生先听一遍，大致了解歌谣内容。学生看歌谣内容试读。教师提问：Is Mike taller than Lee Who is taller than Sue …教师播放录音，师生一起看歌谣并跟录音有节奏地吟唱。找3—4名学生演唱歌谣。教师鼓励学生自编自写自唱歌谣来进一步巩固所学知识。21世纪教育网
活动五：听力练习
教学参考时间：3—4 分钟
教师播放Let’s try部分的录音，学生听录音，圈出录音材料中所描述的大象。
教师带领学生一起说说这三只大象的样子，教师问：What is the Mother elephant like What is the Father elephant like Is the Mother elephant stronger than her son
订正练习题中的答案。教师可以让能力较弱的学生重复录音中的句子，从而加深他们的印象。
4.边说边聊21世纪教育网
教师指着一名身高超过自己的学生说I’m 160 cm tall. You’re taller than me. I’m shorter than you. How tall are you 该学生回答：I’m 165 cm tall. 教师接着说Oh, You’re 5 cm taller than me. 然后教师板书下面这组对话并重点带读最后一个句子。

教师播放A Let’s talk 部分的对话，学生观看。
学生两人一组朗读对话。学生利用两组替换图所提供的信息替换句型中的关键词练习对话。教师可以开展学生分组竞赛，看哪组能正确组织对话并尽可能多地加入学过的语言。教师事先准备一些打乱顺序的单词卡片，让学生读词后快速拼成正确的句子，或空出四会句子当中的某些单词或短语，只给出打头的第一个字母作为提示，让学生填充句子。教师还可以重新组织句型，空出其中某些单词，请学生填充对话。

教师将学生分成不同组，能按指令最快排成队伍的一组为胜。指令内容为：Line up from taller to shorter. 告诉学生这时候要想了解伙伴的身高，必须用英语来沟通，比如：How tall are you I’m 155 cm tall. You’re 160 cm tall. I’m 5 cm shorter than you. 最后由学生自己按指令排队。教师应特别强调组员之间必须用英语进行沟通。
