1.Brainstorm：头脑风暴
教师板书句子：Mike’s cat is ….(出示图片：一只小猫)We are going to have a brainstorm active.
教师解释游戏的玩法：全体起立，每人说一句。可以说任何形容词，说不出来的坐下，直至全班都坐下为止。Stand up and each one say out a sentence beginning with this. If you can say it out , you should sit down. 21世纪教育网版权所有
由于学生学过的形容词还比较少，因此也可以进行小组间的比赛。
如果教师想增加练习的难度，可以将此活动变为锁链游戏，即后面一个人必须在重复前面一个人的基础上再说出自己的句子。这样不仅可以增强练习量，而且可以锻炼学生的记忆力。
【设计意图】合理的情境可以让学生正确理解单词的意义。并通过各种有效的途径去强化其在学生脑中的印像。语言的主要目的在于交际,有交际的句子才是真正有用的语言.
2.Let’s learn：
教师与学生做问答练习：How tall are you？ How heavy are you？How old are you？21世纪教育网版权所有
学生回答教师的问题。教师听完学生回答后，可以说：Oh，you are heavier than …. You are thinner than …. 让学生在情景中体会heavier和thinner的意思。
教师板书这两个单词。
教师拿出一个气球，请一名学生帮助吹气球：Please make it bigger. 教师带领全班同学跟随该学生吹气球的节奏喊：Bigger, bigger！Bigger！教师板书该单词。21世纪教育网版权所有
教师拿着已经吹大的气球，一点一点放出空气，说：Smaller, smaller! Smaller!并板书这个单词。
教师拿出一段皮筋，一边拉长一边说：longer！longer！接着慢慢放松说：shorter！shorter！然后板书这两个单词。

3.Let’s repeat：

将全班同学分为两部分，分别模仿两个人。
4.Describe the animal：
教师播放课件：画面中有一些可爱的卡通动物图片，如能够有动画更好。这些动物的特点要比较鲜明。
请同学们看着这些图片说一说。Would you like to describe these lovely animals? 此时教师应给予必要的帮助。如：His tail is …. His ear is …. Her head is ….等。教师请同学拿出自己的动物玩具，用上面的句型说一说。Who would like to talk about your toys?

教师引导学生进行比赛，可空出单词中的字母组合让学生填写，也可打乱组成单词的字母的顺序，让学生重新排列，组成单词。
通过拼读竞赛加强学生的记忆，也提高学生积极性。

1.Summary：
教师出示A部分和B部分的形容词和形容词比较级的单词。先出现第一栏，让学生自己说出后面的比较级，教师点击课件，比较级单词出现，彩色部分跳动闪烁。学生如果没有学过最高级，可以不要求学生说出来，但是教师不妨将其展示，让学生先有一个感知。21世纪教育网版权所有
