4. another, other, the other 与 others
（1）another 只能用于三者或三者以上的人或物，泛指同类事物中的三者或三者以上的“另一个”，既可以作代词，也可作形容词（只修饰或代替可数名词单数，前面不加定冠词，如：another ball另一颗球）。
（2）other 作形容词，意为“另一方的”，泛指“其他的（人或事）”后面即可跟单数名词，也可复数名词,如：other books其他的书。
（3）the other 后面可跟单数名词也可复数名词，此时other为形容词，如：
the other students 其他的学生。
（4）others 是other的复数，泛指“另外几个，其余的”。
Others相当于other + 复数名词。
