Stopping by Woodson a Snowy Evening

Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.
My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.
He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound’s the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,

诗歌赏析
韵律节奏分析:
(1)抑扬格四音步(iambic-tetrameter)。
(2)这首诗共十六个诗行,分成为四个诗节,
每一个诗节有四个诗行(quatrains);
(3)每一诗行有八个音节,分成为四个音步。
(4)每个音步中有两个音节,前者为轻,后者
为重,即为抑扬格音步。
(5)全诗韵脚是(AABA) (BBCB) (CCDC)(DDDD)。
意象组合:
雪夜,森林,冰湖,小马,承诺和入睡
在意境理论的视角下,该首诗歌不仅真实地刻画了作者不幸的童年生活,将作品放在当时的社会和文化背景下,更在另一个角度展现了作者创作诗歌过程中的艰难和心理情感上的孤独感。
The Daffodils

I wandered lonely as a cloud

前两节描绘了诗人眼中优美生动的自然景色,他将自己喻为浮云,俯视着大地上大片的金色水仙.

诗歌基调浪漫轻松,带着象征主义的色彩。
