1:A talk (give) tomorrow is written by Professor Zhang.
例2:He ___________ (pretend) that a tiger toy was real and giving it a voice.
例3:One day, Nick invited his friends to supper. He was cooking some delicious food in the kitchen. Suddenly, he ______ (find) that he has run out of salt.

例8:Later, _________ (move) by Yu Gong, the God of the Heavens ordered another god to take the two big mountains away.
例9:But she is thinking of ___________ (switch) to a different way of transport--a bicycle.
例10:With the ____________ (develop) of industry, air pollution is getting more and more serious.
例11:She was ______________(surprise) helpful.
1: There are many students living at school; the (child) houses are all far from school.
例2: Tom lost his wallet yesterday,so he was very__________(happiness).
例3: It was early autumn and the __________(leaf) were turning yellow.
例4:All through yesterday ________(crowd) have been arriving and by midnight thousands of people packed the square.
1:I am__________ (tall) than Liu Wen.He is the tallest student in my class.
例2:The teacher replied, “You tasted the water. I tasted the gift. The water was simply the container for an act of kindness and love. Nothing could be ___________ (sweet).”

1:To my three sons I leave my seventeen horses. My eldest son shall take a half,my second son shall take a __________ (three).
例2:As the ____________ (twenty) century dawned, people were becoming incredibly excited for the future.
另外还有几个不定代词的形式变化,如no one/none、other/another等。
例1:The king decided to see the painter by __________(he).
例2:When the gorillas and I frightened each other, I was just glad to find _____________ (they) alive.
I, we, you, he,she,they,it等和关系代词that,which,who等(从句中的谓语前设空)。
(常见句型:It is adj./n. (for sb.) to do sth.; It is said/ reported/ believed/ agreed ... that...; ...find/ make/ consider/ think/ regard/ feel ... it adj/ n. to do sth.)
例1:The children were playing on the ground,enjoying___________,dirty but happy.

例3:She did not hesitate for long: although her father smoked a pipe only once in a while, she knew that this was a present which was bound to please ______.
例4:He asked his teacher,“Sir, the water was awful. Why did you pretend to like ______ ”
限定词包括冠词(a,an,the)、物主代词(my,her等)、定语从句中的关系词(whose等)、名词性从句中的关系代词(what,which等)、不定代词(no,some,neither等)等。
1:When the time came for me to say goodbye to my friends in the village, I wanted to reward the old woman ______ the trouble.
例2:When Jane got home, with her small but well-chosen present in her bag, her parents were already ______ table having supper.
例3:Instead, she is earning $6,500 a day as__________ model in New York.
例4:After school she plans to take a year off to model full-time before going to university to get a degree ________ engineering or architecture.
1:He was very tired from doing this for a whole day, ______ he felt very happy since the crop did “grow” higher.

例5:In much of Asia, especially the so-called “rice bowl” cultures of China, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, food is usually eaten with chopsticks.
1:One day, he came up with an idea ______ he would pluck up all of his crop a few inches.
例2:The new boy looked at the teacher for a few seconds and all the other students wondered ______ the boy would do.

例4: He filled his leather container so that he could bring some back to an elder ______ had been his teacher.
例5:Behind him wereother people to ______ he was trying to talk, but after some minutes they walked away and sat near me, looking annoyed.
如果是一般疑问句则要考虑填助动词或情态动词(do,does,did,have,has,had,can,may等)。

There are several reasons why school uniforms are a good idea. First of all, uniforms help the school look smart. The students feel that they belong 61 a particular group. When every pupil in the school wears the uniform, nobody 62 (have) to worry about fashion(时尚). Everybody wears 63 same style of clothes. Uniforms can be useful in unexpected ways. When the children are walking or 65 (cycle) to school on dark mornings, car drivers can 66 (easy) see them.

According to a review of evidence in a medical journal, runners live three years 61 (long) than non-runners. You don’t have to run fast or for long 62 (see) the benefit. You may drink, smoke, be overweight and still reduce your risk of 63 (die) early by running.
While running regularly can’t make you live forever, the review says it 64 (be) more effective at lengthening life 65 walking, cycling or swimming. Diets have changed in China — and so too has its top crop. Since 2011, the country 61 (grow) more corn than rice. Corn production has jumped nearly 125 percent over 62 past 25 years, while rice has increased only 7 percent.
A taste for meat is 63 (actual) behind the change: An important part of its corn is used to feed chickens, pigs, and cattle. Another reason for corn’s rise: The government encourages farmers to grow corn instead of rice 64 (improve) water quality. Corn uses less water 65 rice and creates less fertilizer (化肥) runoff. This switch has decreased 66 (pollute) in the country’s major lakes and reservoirs and made drinking water safer for people.
According to the World Bank, China accounts for about 30 percent of total 67 (globe) fertilizer consumption. The Chinese Ministry of Agriculture finds that between 2005 — when the government 68 (start) a soil-testing programs 69 give specific fertilizer recommendations to farmers — and 2011, fertilizer use dropped by 7.7 million tons. Few people I know seem to have much desire or time to cook. Making Chinese 61 (dish) is seen as especially troublesome. Many westerners 62 come to China cook much less than in their own countries once they realize how cheap 63 can be to eat out. I still remember 64 (visit) a friend who’d lived here for five years and I 65 (shock) when I learned she hadn’t cooked once in all that time.
While regularly eating out seems to 66 (become) common for many young people in recent years, it’s not without a cost. The obvious one is money; eating out once or twice a week may be 67 (afford) but doing this most days adds up. There could be an even 68 (high) cost on your health. Researchers have found that there is a direct link between the increase in food eaten outside the home and the rise in 69 (weigh) problems.
If you are not going to suffer this problem, then I suggest that the next time you go to your mum’s home 70 dinner, get a few cooking tips from her. Cooking food can be fun. You might also begin to notice the effects not only on your health but in your pocket.

You wouldn’t think that a few 38 (month) of exercise in your teens would be enough 39 the rest of your life, and that’s also true for building your vocabulary — your have to keep at it daily, and pretty soon you will find that you have an excellent vocabulary.
One of the 40 (effect) ways to build vocabulary is to read good books. You need to 41 (real) read at least one good book a week, preferably a classic. This isn’t as hard as it 42 (sound), and it is far better than any other method because you improve your vocabulary while 43 (read) an interesting piece of literature. Another nice thing is that you learn both new words and 44 (they) use unconsciously, meaning that you will tend to use the words 45 (learn) this way in conversations almost automatically.

There has been a recent trend in the food service industry toward lower fat content and less salt. This trend, which was started by the medical community (医学界) 61 a method of fighting heart disease, has had some unintended side 62 (effect) such as overweight and heart disease — the very thing the medical community was trying to fight.
Fat and salt are very important parts of a diet. They are required 63 (process) the food that we eat, to recover from injury and for several other bodily functions. In much of Asia, especially the so-called “rice bowl” cultures of China, Japan, Korea, 61 Vietnam, food is usually eaten with chopsticks.

Truly elegant chopsticks might 62 (make) of gold and silver with Chinese characters. Skilled workers also combine various hardwoods and metal 63 (create) special designs.

Bags of Love
Last year, I was assigned to work at an office near my mother’s house, so I stayed with her for a month. During that time, I helped out with the housework and contributed to the groceries.
After less than a week, I started noticing that the groceries were running out pretty quickly — we were always suddenly out of something. 25 (wonder) how my mum could consume them so quickly, I began observing her daily routine for two weeks. Stress: Good or Bad
Stress used to be an almost unknown word, but now that we are used to talking about it, I have found that people are beginning to get stressed about being stressed.
In recent years, stress 33 (regard) as a cause of a whole range of medical problems, from high blood pressure to mental illness. But like so many other things, it is only too much stress 34 does you harm. It is time you considered that if there were no stress in your life, you would achieve a little. If you are stuck at home with no stress, then your level of performance will be low. Up to a certain point, the more stress you are under, the 35 (good) your performance will be. Beyond a certain point, though, further stress will only lead to exhaustion, illness and finally a breakdown. If the answer to all those questions is yes, you had better 39 (control) your stress, as you probably are under more stress then is good for you.

He has a constant urge 33 (check) for text messages; he checks his phone every five minutes! He’s also addicted to it that he just can’t stand the idea 34 there may be an important text. Sometimes we have disagreements with people. When this 56 (happen), the important thing is to try not to let a calm discussion turn into a heated argument. Here 57 (be) my tips for you.
The first thing I would say is that the way you begin the conversation is very important.
