Steve Jobs
Steve Jobs, former CEO of Apple Company, is widely known for his contribution in the computer fields, changing one industry after another, from computer and smartphones to music and movies. He is described as the “Father of the Digital Revolution”. Steve Jobs was born on 24th February 1955 in San Francisco and grew up in the Silicon Valley.
After dropping out of the college, he founded Apple with his friend Wozniak in 1976. As CEO of Apple, he promoted and oversaw the development of the iMac, iTunes, iPod, and iPad. The success of the products made Apple Company the world’s most valuable publicly traded company in 2011. Jobs was diagnosed with cancer in 2003. He resigned in August 2011 due to his health problem and died on 5th October 2011. Jobs was a man who never stopped following his dream, a man never afraid of any difficulty and a man ahead of his time.
Steve Jobs changed reality, channeling the magic of computing into products that reshaped music, telecoms and media. The man who said in his youth that he wanted to “put a ding in the universe” did just that. ?
