并 列 句
连词 or, and, but 和 while的用法
①表示并列关系,用and…
②表转折,对比,用but, while…
③表选择,用or…
④ 表因果,用so, for
含有两个或两个一上独立的简单句的句子叫并列句。通常由and,but,while,or,so等
连词来连接。如:
1.表示并列关系、动作先后关系,常用and连接。
e.g.After lunch my aunt came in and she looked worried.
午饭后我姑姑进来了,她看起来很着急。(表示并列关系)
I finished my homework ,and I went to bed.
2.表示转折,对比关系,常用连词but,while等。
e.g.He is very rich, but his brother was very poor.
汤姆非常富有,然而他的哥哥非常穷。
3.表示选择关系,常用连词or,either...or..等。
e.g.He came by bus ,or he came by taxi.
他乘公共汽车来的,或者他乘出租车来的。
Either you tell the truth ,or you say nothing .

4.表示因果关系,常用so,for 连接。
E.g.The coat was very expensive ,so I didn't buy it.
