It's written by Beyond, which is written for Nelson Mandela.
创作背景:
1990年,Beyond远赴肯尼亚,并亲眼目睹了非洲人民因为战争和灾荒而遭受的苦难生活。回到中国香港以后,Beyond主唱黄家驹在报纸上读到了曼德拉被困狱中的故事,并由此产生了内心的共鸣。黄家驹认为曼德拉的精神内涵是关于抗争与希望,这与Beyond在香港艰辛打拼的背景不谋而合,于是黄家驹就创作了歌曲《光辉岁月》。
《光辉岁月》不仅浓缩了曼德拉一生的坎坷,同时也表达出曼德拉所希望达到的自由平等 。

My name is Elias. I am a poor black worker in South Africa. The time when I first met Nelson Mandela was a very difficult period of my life. I was twelve years old. It was in 1952 and Mandela was the black lawyer to whom I went for advice.
