教材分析
This is the second part of this unit. The topic of this lesson is greeting and it includes introduce oneself and greets others. This part focuses on the expressions about asking telephone number and first name and last name. This content are highly closed with students’ daily life so it’s easy to arouse their interest.

课前准备

教学过程
Step 1. Warm-up
1.Teacher creates a context of the ugly duck, and show another picture, then ask students to count how many ducks are there.
T: Do you know this duck Yeah, it’s ugly duck and he had no friends. But some other ducks say they are their friends. So can you count the number of his friends
2. Teacher ask students to look at a picture and ask them what numbers can they see on it
【设计意图】
通过情景的创建让学生很容易的就跟着老师一步步来,在轻松的气氛中开始学习,丑小鸭的故事可以吸引学生的参与。
Step 2. Learning words
1. Teacher show the numbers from 0 to 9. And play the tape(in 1a), ask students to repeat after it.
2.Play games: Teacher show a sun and ask students to say out the numbers on it quickly.
3. Teacher show a chant to students, read it to them and then ask students to read it together.
Three, two, one, o
Let’s go! Let’s go.
One, two, three, four
Please go and close the door.
Five, six, seven, eight
Hurry up! Don’t be late.
Nine, ten, nine, ten
Get a ruler and a pen.
4. Show pictures of hospital ,doctors, police and ask students what are their telephone numbers.
5. Show some random telephone numbers and ask students to read them.
【设计意图】
通过游戏,口诀和图片等等让学生学习数字并运用于练习当中。
Step 3. Listening
1. Ask students to listen to the conversation in 1b and write down the telephone number.
2. Teacher plays the tape several times and then ask students to practice the conversations with their partner:
— What’s your telephone number
— It’s ...
Then ask several pairs of students to demonstrate their conversations to the whole class.
3. Ask students to look at 1d then play the tape and ask students to match the names with the numbers.

Play the tape again and ask students to complete the telephone numbers. Then ask students to say out their answer, teacher check it with the class.
4.Teacher show the normal rules of reading telephone numbers.
读7位号码时,通常前三位与后四位数分开,中间有一个停顿,比如6254598读作six two five, four five nine eight;8位的号码,通常可以四个一组来读。电话号码中的0常读作字母o的音(/ u),也可以读作zero。两个数字相同时,可以用double表示,如68227453可读作six eight double two, seven four five three。
5. Group work: ask students to look at if: write down your telephone number and mixed it with your group members’, then take one paper and find the owner.

【设计意图】
通过一系列的听力和说的活动让学生训练本单元重点句型等的表达。首先通过听力部分的输入让学生对这些固定表达如电话号码熟悉,之后的口语练习让学生将所学进行整合输出,有利于学生的掌握。接下来的小组活动通过游戏的形式让学生在轻松的氛围中将所学运用起来。
Step 4. Reading
1. Teacher show pictures of Yue Yunpeng and Steve Jobs to teach them the difference of last name and first name.Then show the rules to them: 英语名字姓在后、名在前,与中文名字相反。
2. Show pictures of some famous people and ask students to say out their first name and last name.
Her first name is ____________.
Her last name is _____________.
3. Teacher show the difference of Mr. Mrs. and Miss by using pictures.
4. Ask students to finish 2a: Read the list of names. Write F for first name and L for last name.
5. Ask students read the messages in 2b then match them with the pictures. And find out the last names and first names.
6.Ask students to finish 2c: Match the names with the telephone numbers. Then find three pairs of friends in the name list.

【设计意图】
在阅读前设计一些准备活动如:教授英文名的姓氏扫清阅读过程可能遇到的问题课堂效率会更高。学生在阅读材料这种比较真实的材料中运用所学将更有效。

1. Ask students to look at 3a: Use the information on the ID card to complete the sentences.

2.Ask students to look at 3b: Fill in your own ID card and write about yourself. Then ask volunteers to show their ID card and introduce themselves in front of the whole class.
【设计意图】
进一步的巩固提升,通过练习让学生将所学的单词句型和表达等运用起来,让学生自己动手得到提升 。
