1、 教材内容分析
本课是人教新目标七年级下册Unit4 Don’t eat in class! Section B 2a-2c.本单元主要学习如何使用由don’t引导的祈使句和情态动词can, can’t, must, have to 谈论身边的规则。本课是这一单元的阅读课也是最后一课,主题是关于Molly因对校规家规的烦恼写给Dr.Know的求助信和Dr.Know给Molly的回信,回信中帮助学生认识到遵守规定是一个学生应尽的义务。生词量较多,阅读内容较难,如何降低难度引导学生读懂并完成阅读任务是关键。
2、 教学对象分析
在Section A 部分学生已经学习了don’t引导的祈使句和情态动词can, can’t, must, have to 谈论身边的规则,对他们学习本课降低了一些难度。同时,七年级学生对英语和新的事物有着较强的求知欲,可以利用他们的好奇心设计阅读任务激发兴趣,也可引导英语学习较好者在小组内带动其他学生参与并思考。
3、 教学目标:
To learn new words and language points.
Lead Ss to use new words and language points to understand the reading passage and finish reading tasks.
To train Ss’ reading skills.
Lead Ss to know it’s their duty to follow the rules for students.
四、教学重点、难点:
(一)重点:Lead Ss to use new words and language points to understand the reading passage and finish reading tasks.
(二)难点:To try retelling the passage according to the blackboard design.
五、教学思路:
1. To use Whole Language Teaching Method. lead Ss to read the passage as a whole and to catch the main idea.
2. To use Task-based Teaching Method. Don’t let Ss remember the language points but lead them to use different reading skills to understand the passage.
3. To use Communicative Teaching Method. To develop Ss ability of communication.

教学过程:
Step1:Lead in
Free talk.“If you are unhappy,who do you like to talk to ”
(设计意图: To catch Ss attention about the class. )
Step2:Pre- reading
Free talk . Look at some picture and talk about Molly.
(设计意图:To get more information about the passage from the pictures.)
Step3:While- reading
1. Skim and answer some questions to catch the main idea.
2. Scan and underline the rules in the passage.
3. Careful reading. Read and finish the chart.
4. Finish 2c by the blackboard design.
(设计意图:Enable Ss have a better understanding about the given material, Task-based Teaching method is used here to train Ss ability of reading skills. )
Step4 : Post-reading
Lead Ss to try retelling the passage by the blackboard design.
(设计意图:If Ss can finish this task well, they must benefit a lot in their spoken English.)
