1. 准确抓住他人特点进行描述。
2. 身体部位名词拼写与复数形式的变化。

1. Warm-up and revision(课堂热身和复习)
T: Let’s learn some new words together. Look at the pictures carefully.
(Then the Ss follow the teacher.)

2. Presentation (呈现新知识)
1. Show four pictures and talk about their appearances.
2. Work on 1a. Match the words with the pictures.
3. Check Ss’ answers.
4. Exercise: Translate the phrases into English. (Check the answers in groups.)
【教学设计说明】通过对每幅图片的描述,引导学生由使用旧知识过渡到自主使用新知识,达到了自然呈现的目的。
3. Pair work
Have Ss get into pairs and describe two pictures .
A: What does the boy look like
B: He has black hair.
A: Does he have big eyes or small eyes
B: He has big eyes.

4. Show time
Talk about a reality show "Running Man", describe what the pop stars look like.

(1)Play a guessing game. Guess who he / she is after reading the information.
(2) Fill in the blanks according to the pictures we talked about just now.

6. Talk show
(1) Work on 1e. Talk about your favorite singer or athlete, and how he/she looks like.
(2) Have some Ss present their reports to the class.
【教学设计说明】 这个阶段的学生都有自己的偶像,谈论明星能激起学生学习英语的兴趣,当语言变成一种需要时,学生们便能自然的张开嘴了。
7. Exercise
(1) Finish the exercises in the paper.
(2) Check the answers in groups and explain the difficult points.
