Teaching aims(教学目标)
1.掌握基本的阅读技能
2. 学会如何礼貌的发出请求
3. 学会礼貌的接受请求和拒绝请求
Language points(语言点)
1 要求掌握以下句式:Could you please… Yes, sure. / No, problem. / Ok, but I have to … first.
2.要求掌握以下词汇:(1)动词:welcome, throw, reply, shout, walk
(2)名词:walk, surprise
(3)形容词:clean, tidy
(4)副词: neither, as …as …, angrily
Difficulties: 如何进行礼貌的请求,接受请求,拒绝请求。
Teaching steps
step1.Warm-up and revision(课堂热身和复习)
Warming up: Have Ss recall the phrases about doing chores.
T: Do you remember how to talk about these chores
Revision:
Have Ss do pair work with their partner and review the key sentence structures.
教学设计说明:为后面的阅读教学作铺垫。引出do chores 这个话题。
step2.Presentation(问题导入)
We know there are many chores in our home, who does the housework in your home
(教师在指导学生回答问题的时候,对后面的小组讨论做好铺垫。)
教学设计说明:通过谁做家务的问题引出阅读材料,来激发学生的阅读欲望。
step3.Work on 3a(回答3个问题)(fast reading)
Read the story and answer the questions.
(教师可以四处走动,以帮助学生怎样理解文章的大意。对学困生进行指导)
教学设计说明:让学生掌握如何去抓住一篇文章的大意。
step4.Work on 3b
T: Read the sentences below. Underline the sentences from the reading that mean the same thing.
(教师对这部分中的三个句子进行讲析,让学生注意每个句子中的句型,讲解用法。鼓励他们找到答案。重点教会学生注意细节,同时让学生学会带着问题有针对性的阅读。)1.板书neither的用法 the minute的中文意思。这是本节课的重要语言点,学生必须掌握并能运用。
step5. Work on 3c
T: Decide whether the underlined words in the sentences are verbs or nouns. Then write another sentence using the underlined word in the other form.
(学生在阅读的同时注意单词不同的词性及其搭配和用法)

step6.Read the passage carefully and answer the 5 questions
What did Nancy’s mother want her to do
What did Nancy want to do
What does Nancy’s mother do during the day And what does she have to do in the evening
What was the result when neither Nancy nor her mother did any housework for a week
What did Nancy finally understand
教学设计说明:指导学生注意理解细节,同时让学生学会带着问题有针对性的阅读。(因为本篇文章已学过,这一detail reading 我就省略了,设计了下面的挖空练习,如果学生能顺利完成,说明他们已读懂了。)这时我就把本节课的两个重要语言点又做了小结,让学生加深印象。
step7. Exercise: Fill in the blanks according to the passage.
Have Ss fill in the blanks using the correct words without looking at the passage in 3a.

step8.Disscussion (设计2个问题) 小组讨论。
1.Do you think if your parents should
do the chores in your family Why
2.As a member of your family we know
there are some chores at home, what will you do from now on ?
