This is the first period of unit 5. In this period, students learn how to make inferences. Such topic is very useful and practical to students. It’s very helpful for students to study this topic. All the students can learn to make inferences. Also,it can raise students’ learning interest.
Analysis of the students
Grade 9 students have learned English for several years and they have obtained some skills of learning English. Learning to make inferences is not difficult for them to accept. Some of them need courage to communicate with each other.
