教学设计理念 初中英语课程标准强调:“激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣,使学生树立自信心,发展自主学习的能力和合作精神;使学生掌握一定的英语基础知识和听、说、读、写技能,形成一定的综合语言运用能力,健康的人生观,为他们的终身学习和发展打下良好的基础。因而,本节课的教学设计上,本节课我采用高效课堂模式,进行“任务型”教学,结合教材的实际对教材内容、编排顺序等进行了调整、替换、删掉和补充。在整个教学过程中,尽量用英语进行教学,为学生创造外语氛围。利用课件,增加直观性,激发学生学习兴趣,降低学习难度,突破重难点且提高课堂密度。让学生在“自主、合作、探究”的氛围中进行讨论与运用,促进语言表达能力的提高和情感、态度及价值观的升华。通过视频音乐“Do, Re, Mi”,创设和谐亲切的开课氛围。引导学生们就What kind of music do you know 进行谈论,迅速融入音乐和英语结合的氛围引出本单元的话题, “I like music that I can dance to ” 组织学生进行交流,学生通过思考和谈论话题“What kind of music do you like Why ”引入新语言结构——定语从句。
教材分析 本节课是人教新目标九年级Unit9 I like music that I can dance to. Section A 1a-1c的内容。本单元以music(音乐)为中心话题,让学生学会用定语从句谈论自己所喜爱或偏好的艺术,学习表达自己的爱好。从结构内容上说,定语从句是初中阶段必需了解的一种句法结构。本单元将通过一系列的练习(句型结构练习、听力练习、精读写作练习、自我检测、泛读练习)来达到学习目的,完成学习任务。本课时所进行的是基本的句型结构和部分听力练习,是整个单元学习的双基——基本和基础。
学情分析 本课是针对九年级的学生平均年龄在15、16岁左右,这年龄阶段的学生渴望成人化,喜欢从事他们认为能成为成年人的学习活动,并从探索活动中体验到最大的成功体验和情绪满足。本单元以music(音乐)为中心话题,让学生学会用定语从句谈论自己所喜爱或偏好的艺术,学习表达自己的爱好。这与学生的日常生活及个人兴趣紧密相关,能够引起学生的极大兴趣。并且本班的学生思想活跃,乐于表达自己的思想和看法。求知欲很强,喜欢积极参加任务型教学活动,有很强的竞争意识,有利于教学活动的开展。然而,虽然学生在以前所学的内容当中已经有所接触定语从句,但仅仅是了解而已,对于定语从句地系统地掌握需要一定地强化,因此,本课的目标语言就变为本课地难点了。

教学重点 掌握本课时重点词汇;掌握定语从句的用法与结构。1.New words: prefer,lyric,dance to, sing along with .2.Useful expressions : What kind of music do you like I like music that I can dance to.I like music that has great lyrics.I like music that I can sing along with.I like music that isn’t too loud. 3. Be able to talk about someone’ favorite music.
教学难点 How to express preferences to music using relative clauses with that/who/which
教学方式 小组合作学习 ,任务型教学,情景视听法。采用高效课堂模式,进行“任务型”教学,为学生设置真实的情景、语境,使学生在自主、交流、合作探究中学习和使用语言。
教学准备 结合本节课的具体内容,在理清教学思路的基础上,根据教材内容,精选学生生活中所熟悉的事例,插入许多精美的图片音乐,并结合本单元要学的单词、词组、短语,尽可能多地复现所学的重点词汇和句型。制作成学生所喜爱的演示文稿,来激发学生对英语学习的积极性,活跃课堂气氛。

Task 3 Finish off 1a Show some pictures about music and ask “What kind of music do you like ”add more ideas to the list. Discuss more ideas about “What kind of music do you like share ideas. 复习词汇,为听力做准备。
Task 4 Listening(1b) This activity gives students practice understanding the target language in spoken conversation. Read the instructions to the class.Read the question in the speech bubble. Play the recording for the first time. Play the recording again. Check the answers. Students only listen.Students listen and check the kinds of music Tony and Betty like. 从说到听,逐步递进, 训练听力。
Task 5 Pairwork(1c)Everyone should practice using the sentence pattern——the Attributive Claus This activity provides oral practice using the target language.1.First, a dialogue between the teacher and some Ss: What kind of music do you like I like music that I can sing along with.What about you I prefer music that has great lyrics.2.After that ,let students ask in pairs and come to the front of the classroom and act out their conversations. Practice in pairs.Talk about the music you like. You can make conversations about music in any ways you like.Make a conversation with each other. 结对练习以两个人为活动单位,既能使他们乐于去表达,又可保证人人有说和做的机会。使小组成员互相合作,培养其集体观念和写作意识。Everyone should practice using the sentence pattern——the Attributive clause.
Task 6 Extension (拓展) 众人拾柴火焰高:学校青少年宫将要举办一个校园文化艺术节,学校需要做个问卷调查,调查一下你们喜欢什么类型的音乐,音乐家和电影.(每小组六人先组内展开讨论) 操作建议:1.分组排练,表演。 2.针对某同学的问题,表达个人喜好。完成任务所需要的语言结构:A: What kind of music do you like B: I like music that_______.C: What kind of musicians do you prefer D: I prefer musicians that ____________________.E: What kind of movies do you love F: I love movies that ____________________. Discuss in groups.Then act ,在小组展开讨论,集思广益,征求意见。进一步让学生巩固对目标语言的使用;拓宽学生运用英语的能力,并通过向他人提供帮助,向学生渗透情感教育——音乐美感教育,音乐可以带给人们幸福,快乐生活,健康成长。
Task 7Summary 1.Get ss to have a summary. Let the students have a summary by themselves.Then tell others 让学生自己总结本节课应掌握的语言知识。培养学生通过自主学习归纳总结的能力。
