I. Teaching Aims:

To talk about school days with your partner.

To learn to share past memories and experiences with your classmates.

Step1: Leading-in
1. Watch a short video about a graduation party.
2. Pay attention to the title and distinguish between “remember doing” and “remember to do”.

Step2: Review and Presentation .
1.Review the new words.
2.Talk about the memories about junior high school.
T: Junior high school days are over. Do you have any special memories
S: “I remember…”. “What about you ”
3.Learn the new phrases:
doing a school survey,
being a volunteer,
a friend helping me with a problem,
winning a prize.

Step3: Speaking(1a,1c)
1. Talk about memories.
(1) The teacher give an example.

(2) The students practice in pairs and finish 1c.

1. Before listening:
The teacher explain the key phrases and the students read the sentences.
2. While listening:
The students listen carefully and finish the activities.
3. After listening:(2c)
(1)The teacher check the answers and the students read the listening texts after the tape.
(2)Role-play a conversation in groups using the information in 2a and 2b.

Step5: Role-play(2d)
1. The teacher let students look at the picture and talk about their memories.

2. The students work in groups and make their own conversation.
