本单元是最后一个单元。本单元的设计目的旨在复习巩固初中阶段一些重要的语法项目，同时让学生回顾总结初中三年美好时光。Section B在话题上，由谈论过去的中学生活转向对未来的展望。2a-2e活动是一个完整的阅读活动，以演讲的方式讲述了一名教师或校长对即将毕业学生的寄语和激励。
Ⅱ、学情分析：
1.因为学生他们即将毕业，所以对“在校时光”的话题会感兴趣。讨论在校的生活和展望未来，他们对此也有话说，有利于引导他们进行深入的思考和探讨。
2.通过三年的学习，学生已具备一定的阅读理解能力，运用已学的策略与技巧，以提高学生的阅读理解能力。

1、知识目标
(1) 能读懂以下词汇：
gentleman, congratulate, thirsty, none, task, ahead, separate, wing
(2) 了解以下词组的含义：first of all，be thirsty for…，be thankful to sb.，none of… ，be responsible for…，set out，along with…，be responsible for
2、能力目标：
1）能正确辨别所阅读文章的文体。
2）能读懂毕业致辞，并能运用略读和扫读阅读技能进行阅读。
3）能运用所学的内容谈自己的毕业感言。
3、情感目标：
学习这篇演讲稿后，学生会珍惜初中最后的美好时光并努力学习以及学会感恩曾经帮助过自己的所有人。
Important points: 读懂有关演讲式的短文，并学会提取阅读中的相关信息。
Difficult points：能运用所学的内容谈自己的毕业感言。
