强调句型的基本结构：

It is / was + 被强调部分 + that / who + 其他成分.
It is / was …that /who…用来强调一个句子中除谓语以外的任何句子成分。
e.g.I saw a film in the Youth Palace last night.

如何判断It is / was ...开头的句子是强调句型呢？
如果把这种句型中的句型结构部分(It is/was...that/who...)去掉后，
句子意思清晰、能构成完整无缺的句子结构，则这个句子就是强调句。
判断： It was Jack who finished the task.
去掉 It was...who... 之后
Jack finished the task.
1、当强调主语或宾语时，that可以指人也可以指物，而who只可以指人。
It was Tom _________ I met last week.
我上周遇见的就是汤姆。
It is a new bike _______ his brother wants to buy.
他的弟弟就想买一个新自行车。

2、被强调的部分是主语时，注意that后的谓语动词的单复数和被强调的主语保持一致。
It is he who _____ ( be ) late.
是他迟到了。
It was they that _______ ( be ) late.
是他们迟到了。

3、强调状语时，只有that,不用when、where.
It is at 5 o'clock________ the train will arrive.
五点钟是火车到达的时间。

4、从句的强调：
I came home late because it was raining hard.

What you said really made us sad.
___________________________________________________________
It was because it was raining hard that I came home late.
It was what you said that really made us sad.
5、一般疑问句的强调句为“Is /was it + 被强调部分 + that... ”
Was it ten years ago that he joined the army (强调状语)
Was it Tom that you met this morning (强调宾语)
Is it Tom that has borrowed your money recently (强调主语)
6.特殊疑问句为：“特殊疑问词+ is / was it +that（陈述语序）... ”结构。
Where was it that you saw her cellphone yesterday
When will you set off
When is it that you will set off
Where did you see her cellphone yesterday
7、It is / was not until + 被强调部分 + that ...
(注意：强调该结构时not until不能分开),该句型也是强调句型。主要用于强凋时间状语，译成汉语”直到...才..”，可以说是 not ... until ... 的强调形式。
I didn’t realize she was a famous film star until she took off
her dark glasses.
It was not until she took off her dark glasses that I realized
she was a famous film star.
= Not until she took off her dark glasses did I realize
she was a famous film star.(倒装)
8. 含有定语从句的强调句型
在被强调的名词后再设计一个以该名词为先行词的定语从句，这时不要把定语从句当作强调句。
