其过去式和过去分词皆为died,
现在分词为dying, 形容词为dead/dying.

昨天那位老人死于癌症。
die是短暂性动词，不能与表示一段时间的"for 短语”连用，如“他死了三天”不能说"He has died for three days." ,而应说"He has been dead for three days."或"He died three days ago.".
