阅读下列短文,从每题所给的A、B、C和D四个选项中,选出最佳选项。
A
Travel is fun and exciting, but it's not if you get sick. You may think, “Not me, I won't get sick on my vacation.” But for many people, that is what happens.
A vacation is supposed to be a time for relaxing. But very often it is not.“What can I do when I am a tourist?” This is what we should often think about.Usually there are so many places to visit: museums, shops, parks and churches. You may spend most days walking around these places. This can be very tiring.Your feet may hurt. And you may have a terrible headache after a few hours. If this is what you feel, you should take a rest.Don't ask your body to do too much.A tired body means a weak body. And a weak body can make you get sick easily.Just sit down for a few hours in a nice spot.In good weather, look for a quiet park bench.Or you can rest at a café.You can learn a lot by watching people when you have a rest.
Sleep is also important. If you want to stay healthy you need enough sleep. You may have trouble sleeping at night when you travel.Your hotel room may be noisy, or the bed may be uncomfortable. If that is true, don't be afraid to change rooms or hotels. You may not get enough sleep for another reason. You may want to stay out late at night. In many cities the night life can be very exciting. Then you should plan to sleep for an hour during the day. That extra hour can make a big difference.
Finally, if you want to stay healthy, you must eat well. That means eating the right kinds of foods.Your body needs fresh fruit and vegetables, and some meat, milk or cheese. When you are in a new country, you may want to try new foods but you need to be careful about how much you eat.Lots of rich food is not very good for you.

D.Take lots of medicine.

When I first heard about geocaching (地理寻宝), I was skeptical. But the more I thought about it, the more it seemed like an interesting idea. I at least wanted to try it once.
Having familiarized myself with how the game works, I set out in search of my first cache. My trip took me through a series of lively hutong (胡同), past a number of small temples, and right into the courtyard of a quiet youth hotel. I spent several minutes looking around, but couldn't find anything. Just before I was about to give up, I spotted a colorful object in the crack of a wall. Could it be the hidden cache
At that moment a group of backpackers arrived. According to the game's rules, people who are not in the game must not be allowed to find out about secret caches. So I pretended to make a phone call while waiting for them to leave. When the coast was clear, I grabbed the object. It was the cache! I opened it and pulled out a crumpled (皱的) sheet of paper with several names and celebratory messages written on it. I added my own and replaced the cache in its hiding place, ready for the next geocacher to find.
It may seem like a simple game, but the idea that there are caches hidden all around us is exciting. Once you're hooked, it's easy to set yourself the goal of finding every single cache in a neighborhood or even an entire city. The real treasure, however, is not the cache itself, but the places it takes you to.
Hunting for further caches has since introduced me to places which I didn't even know existed. Some are peaceful parks, while others are forgotten historical sites. A few caches have even been in places I passed regularly without giving them any thought. Now, I feel a much closer connection.

A.He has found much treasure.
B.He's more familiar with the city.
C.He has made more friends.
D.He has mastered hunting.

One day I planned to go for a hike with my children, Daniel, who was ten, and Wes, who was seven. The boys were excited about the idea.
After lunch we started off. The little boys walked one by one in front of me with their packs. I laughed as I watched Wes walking carefully along the trail before me. After some time, I asked Wes if I could carry the pack for a while. He smiled quietly and handed the thing to me.
The guys hiked happily. The air was sweet and trees were green. We crossed a bridge over a stream that ran among stones. At one point, we came to the edge of the woods, where we saw plenty of corn growing in a field.
I kept Wes' pack and finally asked him, “What's in the pack, Wes?” “A calculator (计算器),” he said. I thought maybe he packed some apples, a field guide, field glasses and similar things. Any of these would have made sense, but Wes said, “A calculator.”
“It's a bit heavy, Wes. Did you put some books in here, too?”
“No, just the calculator.”
He insisted that the only thing in the pack was a calculator. Then it hit me what he meant by a calculator. So I asked, “Why did you put an adding machine in your pack?”
“I just wanted something in my pack,” he said.
Kids are fun and full of surprises. I laugh every time I think of it and I'm reminded what a priceless thing it is to have a little boy to hike with.
It's better to live than waste your life watching others pretend (假装) to live on TV. So get out to do something with the family, and spend time with them while you still can.

As most children return to school, many rich families are choosing to pull their children out of the mainstream education system altogether in favor of having a tutor at home. “Around 50 percent of the inquiries we're getting at the moment are for long term, daily home tutoring,” Steve Spriggs, managing director of London based private tutoring service. And, he adds, the trend has grown from families asking for personal tutors to copy the classroom environment in their own homes. “Many families that were making the inquiries for full time home tutors,” Spriggs said, “were either travelling so frequently that sending their children to one school was impractical and others did not want their children to go into boarding school.”
Home tutoring is nothing new, and many tuition firms also offer extra tutoring services to families wanting their children to have a little extra help learning ahead of entrance exams at competitive private schools in the U.K., such as Harrow, St. Pauls or Eton.
“We always make it clear to parents that we will only offer full time home schooling for a year though,” Spriggs explained. “Any more than a year and children start to lose out on what a school environment can give them, such as social skills and that vital interaction they need — although we try to reduce that anyway in our home tutoring with sports clubs of museum trips as part of the teaching program.”
Spriggs said that the costs of hiring a full time tutor would be more that the fees of a top boarding school, which usually charge around $54,400 a year. Some families employ two full time tutors, one to cover humanities (人文学科) and the other to cover science and maths. Devising an educational plan for youngsters in these situations is not a quick process, however, Spriggs said, with a tutor being matched to the child to ensure they are compatible (兼容的).

第二节:概要写作(满分25分)
阅读下面短文,根据其内容写一篇60词左右的内容概要。
