教学内容分析
本节课是一节阅读课,它向我们介绍了东南亚一个漂亮的岛国——新加坡。新加坡是个以旅游闻名的国家,素有“花园城市”和“狮城”的美称,它以干净优雅的环境、多样的饮食文化吸引着全世界旅游观光的人们。又因为那里有众多的华人,所以新加坡也成为中国游客的热门选择。在教学中运用图片、视频、声音媒体等手段进行教学,营造良好的语言学习情景。通过对文章的阅读使学生能快速的进行信息的识别、信息的转述及推理判断。

1.掌握基本的阅读技能
2. 了解新加坡这个国家并学习新加坡的文化
3. 会用关键词概括每段大意
4. 会介绍自己的城市

Difficulties(难点):描述一个国家
1. Warm-up(课堂热身)
T: Which countries do you want to visit Why Talk to your classmates and write what they say.
Have Ss think of the countries they want to visit and ask them to give a reason for each of their choices.

2. Presentation(呈现新知识)
T: What do you know about Singapore What do you want to know about Singapore
(教师呈现一段有关新加坡的视频,对后面的阅读做好铺垫。)

3. First reading (Work on 2b)
T: Skim the article and answer the question. How many reasons can you find for visiting Singapore Remind Ss to find the key words, and the general idea while they are reading the article.
(教师帮助学生怎样用关键词串联理解文章的大意,并对个别阅读有障碍的地方进行注解。)

4. Second reading (Work on 2c)
T: Read the article again and correct the following statements.
(教师对这部分中的四个句子进行讲析,抢答PPT的问题,让学生注意每个句子中的关键词,鼓励他们找到答案,重点教会学生注意关键词)

5. Third reading (Work on 2d)
T: Fill in the conversation about Singapore using the information from the article.

6. Post-reading (Work on 2e)
T: Please get into groups of four. Make notes about Singapore. Write down anything that you remember. Do not look at the article.
教学设计说明:让学生首先分享对新加坡的印象进而学会如何描述一个国家或地区,然后检查学生对本堂阅读课所学到的一些方法。
7. Step 3 Important phrases
1. Translate the important phrases.(学生划出,教师补充)
2. And then use the phrases to do some practices.

8. Summary
1. Recall what we’ve learnt in this lesson together with Ss.
2. T: When we want to introduce a place, what should we mention
Ss: The food, interesting place, location, language, temperature…
